Since Halloween is right around the corner, let's discuss this. I know several people who own hearses, some with coffins in them. A good majority of these coffins are used. Some are from funeral homes that used them for wakes, and others are bought after they are displaced from a flood or something else and the original occupant was moved elsewhere. I have heard stories of the retired hearses having some interesting paranormal activity. Some things seemed centered around the coffins, and other things around the hearse itself.

Do you think that coffins are a place that a spirit would attach itself to, and continue to stay with it, even after the physical body is moved and reinterred?

I say yes. It must be upsetting to have a final resting place disturbed for whatever reason. Why wouldn't they want to hang on to something familiar?

As for hearses, it is the last ride for a physical body. I think it is also possible for energy to attach itself to a hearse. Do you think I am off course on this?

Opinions?
