The sixth trip for the NTPRT.ORG team found us in Hurst, TX at a private residence. This home, built in June 1960, was custom built by the original owners, a father and son construction team. The current residents are the fourth group to live in this home. The homeowners have contacted the first and second residents to live at property, none reported anything abnormal while living there. The third residents were unable to be reached. At our initial meeting with the homeowners they explained some of the phenomena they had experienced:

• Orb came thru home and hit female homeowner in chest, similar to a baseball. Left no visible marks, but stunned homeowner.
• Bald man standing on roof overlooking back yard, reported by teenage daughter, more than once.
• Female, young teen, translucent figure has been spotted in hallway, more than once.
• Numerous cold spots reported by homeowners in 'black & white' room.
• Homeowners felt a presence 'holding them down' one night while trying to sleep, they were unable to move and/or speak, unable to gasp for air.
• Kids playing in a box, in the dining area reported seeing 'witch eyes' looking at them, witnessed by more than one person.
• Elementary school aged boy has seen and has conversations with another boy in the home known as 'Bob'. He knows where Bob "is" most of the time, but no one else in the family has this connection.
• Black 'mist' has been reported forming in the main hallway, witnessed more than once.
• Female (girl) approx. 12 years of age has been spotted standing in the doorway of the girls room, looking in on them.

We started our investigation of this property around 10pm on 15 Dec 2007, equipped with non-contact thermometer (1), flashlights, DVR fixed/wired cameras with nightvision (4), digital camera (1), night vision enabled camcorder (1), digital voice recorder for EVP (1), Electrosensor EMF detector (1) and a CellSensor EMF detector (1). Initial EMF baseline readings were conducted, then the home power was cut to remove any stray EMF readings. The investigation lasted approximately 4.5 hours.

Some of the crew members reported seeing what appeared to be a shadow in the main hallway, a cold spot was also noted during this time, but we found nothing to back this up on film/video. Nothing was seen outside/on the roof. This was checked throughout the investigation at random intervals. In the black & white room there were numerous cold spots noted. The master bedroom closet also had quite a few notable cold spots.

The homeowner experienced a strong feeling of being told to go to the spare bedroom and open the closet door. The homeowner and NTPRT.ORG crew went and opened the door to this closet. Upon opening the door, a slight cool breeze was felt, the presence rushed by Suzanne and Mark and headed straight for the homeowner who felt the presence stronger than ever to the point of being overwhelmed. The presence seemed to be confused more than threatening. It then backed up to Suzanne before making it's way out of the spare bedroom heading for the 'black and white' room, where it stayed. Its confusion point at this time seemed elevated. The presence was told to leave by Suzanne and Hailey and after a few minutes, the cold spots and feelings of presence diminished. This presence did not show up on video footage, but was quite strong and felt by both the homeowner and at least two (2) of our crew members.

We had a few problems with the digital camera not firing the flash correctly - this wasn't a big issue, occuring on only about 5 photos out of hundreds. The homeowner, at one point, felt as if there was something standing next to her while she was sitting in the living room. We found no evidence to support this being was there, only a slight temperature drop on her left side as reported by the non-contact thermometer. The only presences felt by our team were one (1) adult, one (1) male child and one (1) teen girl. No real communication or interaction could be determined.

In reviewing the collected evidence, we discovered a hardware failure caused all digital photos to be destroyed before they could be reviewed. Over 400 photos from this job were lost due to the memory card failing. We did however have the photos from the initial walk through that occured about a week and a half before the actual investigation.

There was no evp evidence from this investigation.

There were quite a few ORBs spotted on the video footage (shown below). [Note: numbering is not seqential on the following video clips - they are from two different tapes recorded throughout the investigation].

  • At 1:23:22 notice an ORB enter from the right, passing under the TV.
